Dover Dairy Maid Ice Cream Delights in Dover, NJ

Have visited here plenty of times but finally getting to a review. It’s straight forward. Classic. And delicious. It hit the spot. Waffle cup soft served with sprinkles Bring cash.

I went there recently and I got the Hot Fudge sundae, OMG, it was really delicious. It actually tasted like homemade soft serve ice cream that had a lot of chocolate flavoring to it. It’s definitely one of the best ice cream places I’ve ever been to in my life. I’ll definitely be going back there in the future. They even have different flavors of soft serve ice cream tree am, most places only have chocolate, twist and vanilla, but this place doesn’t just have that. I rated my sundae a 10/10

Finally came back here for some delicious snacks earlier in the week. Food: unpictured is the oreo Cookie Monster styled ice cream that my wife loves, but I only learned that they do a creamsicle ice cream (a mix of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet) and I am in love. It is such a unique flavor mix that I didn’t know I needed and I also learned later that it is possible down the shore, but I don’t have to go that far for it! Aesthetic: standard ice cream parlor, I like the location albeit the parking is a little tough if the lot is busy. Service: great, hard working servers, can’t imagine how busy they get! I ordered an orange creamsicle ice cream cake, and although I was initially hesitant, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I had originally planned to order from Denville Dairy because I love their refreshing flavors, but the cake from here was just as tasty, if not better. Plus, it was more affordable, and they were very accommodating with the pickup timing. While Denville requires a week’s notice, they were able to have it ready in just a couple of days. Thanks again for the great service!

Fantastic small-town grill with ice cream shop (Dover Dairy Maid) nextdoor. Good prices. Tasty food! Considered the Chicago Dog, but went with the Dover Dog. Kids devoured their burgers. We were all full, otherwise we would have tried their famous onion rings. Nextdoor, the dusty roads sundae is legit! Thank me later.

They did an amazing job on my daughter's birthday cake. We'll definitely be back for another. The cake looked great and it tasted even better. We did two different hard ice cream flavors and it was delicious!

A fantastic family run ice cream stand with a large selection of homemade soft/hard ice cream, cakes, milkshakes, specialties... Great choice of flavors, definitely a great value with a very friendly staff. I enjoyed some dairy-free Italian ice creams (orange is delicious!). Only cash, no card accepted...

Excellent ice cream, but expensive. They are always busy, they deliver a great product, but just under $6 for a small cone or $8 for a waffle cone is not worth it. I have a background in business and understand market pricing. Considering that there are always customers, but that the lines are no longer out the door and down the road making service faster maybe it's a good business decision. And I like supporting local Mom and Pop stores, however if I can buy a pint of the best national brands for less than the cost of a single cone then you've limited business to special occasions.
